Certainly.

A friendly challenge:

Please find several words to teach me/us, within the mental health milieu.

Another challenge: please explain the parts of the compound word hikikiomori.

And oh could I have easily become hikikomori in my early 20s. Yikes.

Good challenge.

I would probably hold off though until I can talk to Japanese people about it in Japanese and get their understanding of it.

I think that’s in the spirit that this goal seems to embody.

You found shiny goldfish paper for your origami! Yay! Did you hang it up, or rest it on something?
I'd love to hear about the ukulele band you found. Were they in outfits? Organized or casual?
Some of the taiyaki I saw in googling were so realistic--googly eyes and all. What filling did you use? Bean paste? Meat? Fish?
I'm enjoying following your list :-)

I left the paper at the store for now. The store is on the way to the market where the ukuleles play. It’s not goldfish scales or anything but it’s a pattern with gold paint in it that speckles like fish scales in sunlight.

There’s a group of all skill ranges that meet in a growers’ market to play ukulele together. I’ll go watch them and then bring my ukulele and join in.

So far the fillings I’ve had are vanilla, salted caramel and adzuki bean. But they experiment with new flavors. You can watch them being made.
