Enjoying the Isolation

Post by Beany Boo »

Social distancing, staying home and the emptiness of the cityscape has been for some introverts, exquisite. Despite the significance, dangers and gravity of the pandemic, this time is an un-looked-for high point in the lives of some. There is a window in which to learn something important about introversion; if only by those who experience it. But there is also the risk that introverts will suffer if and when a sense of normalcy returns.

Well said, Beany Boo.

Like you stated, I at once both recognize the gravity of the macro situation (very grave indeed). On a micro level, me, I am making a virtue of necessity: required to stay home, I had no idea I needed this quiet, isolation, and un-stimulation this much.
