I fear I will always be too sensitive and never be able to shrug off the mean-spirited words of others
I fear I will never know the pleasure and comfort of sleeping next to someone who adores me (who is not my dog.)
I fear that my anger and bitterness, newly unleashed, will consume me more violently that the act of suppressing them.
I fear I will always feel like this.
