Wellbutrin, Risperidone and Clonazepam

Hello,

I am climbing out of a major depressive episode that lasted a few months. Wellbutrin, Risperidone and Clonazepam: the concoction that saved my life. I have been on Risperidone 0.25 mg and Wellbutrin XL 300mg for five weeks. I started the Risperidone a week or so later, actually, because my suicidal ideation and thoughts of death and corpses went through the roof.

Adding Clonazepam last week started to quell the anxiety and, POOF! I'm almost back to 'normal'. I have a lot of work to do in terms of CBT and trying to be less cynical but it's manageable now that I am semi-functional and working towards fully-functional

Thought I'd post this as an attempt to focus on the positive. Drugs are working. Yay.

I'm so glad to hear you've found a med combo that works for you! Congrats, and good job sticking in there. Waiting for the meds to leve out is never easy. It's nice to hear something encouraging every once in a while. Thanks for the hopeful words.
