Hi everyone-
Wondering if anyone else out there takes Prozac (generic fluoxetine) for generalized anxiety? I had my first panic attack around a year ago and my family doctor had me start a daily dose of fluoxetine and I have been doing well on it- no panic attacks since the fall. However, my libido is basically killed and also I've been having crazy vivid dreams since starting it. Also generally not sleeping well. Of course I'm planning to meet with her soon to discuss potential options but just wondering if anyone else had a similar experience?

Yeah, back when I was on the fluox I had both of these symptoms. I think they're both common. The side effects of meds are a bitch. Even if you have found the right meds for you, sometimes the side effects can drag you down so much it makes them not right! Although the killing of my libido was nothing but a blessing at the time for me!
Many meds make you have crazy dreams. If they're affecting your sleep to the point that it's doing more harm then good then that's not cool. Has your life been easier overall since you've been taking them? That's the balance and the rub.

I am somewhat worried I come across as a know-it-all in a lot of my posts, so please allow me to use this space to make it clear that I actually don't know shit and am just trying to be helpful.
