In an effort to be positive here are some loves
I love a spring day when the sun is out, the birds are chirping, trees are starting to get leaves, grass is suddenly bright green and the flowers are starting to bloom.
I love when I get home from work and my cat angrily meowing at me for being away so long.
I love when a song mirrors how I feel in that moment and it feels like it's not just playing from the speakers but from inside you.
I love when I actually get a project done.
I love on a snowy day to watch the birds eating at the bird feeder.
I love when Paul tells himself to shut up.
I love the poem Howl.
I love unexpectedly seeing wildlife(deer, fox, turkey, etc)
I love a clear night sky when there a thousand stars.
I love hugging someone close to me.

Re: loves
I love the bit you wrote about when music fits at the right moment, it just takes you to a place that nothing else can. Who is the poet behind Howl? I've never been into poetry and would love to get into some.

Re: loves
I love when I am staying in a hotel, and I pad down the hall in bare feet to fill the ice bucket. Maybe because my house is all hard wood floors, I just love the feeling of my feet on the hotel carpet, and also the fact that I am barefoot where you probably shouldn't be barefoot.
I love sunshine. It makes me happy.
I love spring. Because the days get longer and warmer, flowers bud and bloom, and I am reminded of the cycle of life and the possibility of regeneration. See also "I love sunshine."
I love my daughter's kisses on my cheek. They are the sweetest thing I can imagine.
I love when a complete stranger gives me a friendly hello or smile for no reason.
I love hearing street musicians play, even the bad ones.
I love wearing bright colors.
I love the smell of pine needles.
I love babies, especially other people's babies (because you can give them back).

Re: loves
awesome loves Betty. I love the smell of pine needles too.
Downinkokomo Allen Ginsberg wrote Howl. It's not like a normal poem which is why I like it so much. He wrote it in the mid 50's and it was pretty wild for its time.

Music coming from inside, Paul telling himself to shut up and thousands-of-star skies are things I love too
