Hello Kiwi,

Welcome! Hope you're doing well, all things considered.

Here in the NY/NJ area we've been battening down the hatches for the last three weeks, and I've been watching the near-daily briefings from our two governors. Not very reassuring at first, with the uncertainty, lack of supplies, the daily numbers, and the rate of increase..

A week ago, I was waking up to some real existential dread for myself and the world at large. Kinda like... "Well, here it is now... what I've been waiting for/anticipating most of my life" sort of thing... Not so bad now but need to take things a day at a time.

Wondering about your screen name "Kiwi" - any significance?

Hi snoring dog . Yes the username is because I'm from . New Zealand . We have been in complete lockdown for 2 weeks with a predicted 2 weeks at least to go . Nothing feels much different as I work in media which is considered an essential service so I can still go to work .
